How does Steinway Family Dental Center’s costs compare to other dental practices?
Well, I know that there are some dentists who are a little more expensive and some dentists are a little cheaper. I think certain procedures at this office are less expensive. Some of the most routine things are less expensive at this office.
For example, if you need a dental checkup, it's only $149 for new patients the first time at Steinway Family Dental Center, and if you need to get your dental cleaning, that's already included with your checkup. So it's really inexpensive, and we do that on purpose because we want to help people actually come in and get their treatment done and so on. But if you never come in, the small problems you have become bigger problems, and then, of course, they cost a lot more. So not too expensive. You can come in and find out for yourself.
Why does the cost of some procedures vary at different dentists?
Well, the reason for that is because the cost consists of the location of the dental office, and it's a very widely known thing. Even insurance companies would pay differently depending on your zip code. So if you go into an area like Manhattan, it's going to be a lot more expensive than it would be here in Queens. And that's pretty much how the cost compares. Does the skill of a dentist play a role in that? Somewhat. But usually it is mostly location and the investment that the dentist makes into their education and so on.
How will I know if my dental insurance will cover my treatments or procedures at Steinway Family Dental Center?
We do complimentary insurance checks. If you would like to know if your insurance would cover particular services, you would come in, we would do a checkup, and we'll find out from your insurance what the appropriate cost would be for you based on your insurance information. This way, you can make your decisions already informed. So you would know before you make up your mind. Also, if you need a payment plan for that, we can provide you with options, and depending on what's convenient for you, you can choose whichever plan you would like.
Is financing available at Steinway Family Dental Center if my dental insurance doesn’t cover my treatment?
Well, like I said before in the previous question, yes, we do have different financing options, and the options run from no interest from 6 months to 2 years to with interest for up to 10 or 11 years in some instances. So whichever plan is more convenient for you, find out what your monthly payment is, see what you can afford, and then make up your mind based on that.
Does Steinway Family Dental Center offer a discount for full payment upfront in cash?
It could be checks, credit cards, cash, whatever is convenient for you. But as long as it's paid up front and it's not a loan you're taking from medical loans or a payment plan over time, you get a 5% discount for payment up front.
